2026 Sydney ANZAC DAY March

The latest instructions from RSL NSW for the 2026 ANZAC Day March in Sydney confirm there is no change to the routine of years’ past, with the RAN contingents (including the NWOA) expected to step off from 9.15am. Accordingly, the NWOA Banner Bearers will be in place in Castlereagh Steet between Hunter and Martin Place by 0900. Those intending to march should be formed up and ready to step off by 9.10am.

All members are encouraged to participate and if you know of anyone who wants to march but is currently unattached, please bring them along to swell the ranks. Decorations and medals should be worn.

The 2026 Sydney Anzac Day march has been set up as an Event on the Association’s website. To provide a guide to likely numbers, members are requested to indicate their intention to march by registering through the website (Select Events from the Menu at the top on the Front Page > Upcoming Events > 2026 ANZAC Day March _Sydney > RSVP > enter number of attendees in the ticket box > Checkout). This is not compulsory and doesn’t preclude anyone from joining on the day.

The NWOA reunion will again be at the RAN Sailing Association (RANSA) boatshed in Rushcutters Bay from 1200. The reunion will be set up as a separate event on the website.
