NWOA Annual General Meeting 21 June 2022

The Naval Warfare Officers Association will hold its annual general meeting at 10am on 21 June 2022. The meeting will be held via Zoom.

The following documents for consideration will be emailed to members in the next few days : 1. Notice on Meeting, 2. Agenda, 3. Proxy Appointment Form, 4. Minutes of the 2021 AGM.

Members who wish to propose items for inclusion on the Agenda should do so no later than 7 June 2022. Proposed inclusions should be emailed to the acting Secretary ([email protected]).

At the AGM, all Office Bearer and Committee positions will be declared vacant and volunteers will be sought for the forthcoming year. Members are strongly encouraged to consider standing for one of these positions. Any member who wishes to nominate is requested to notify the acting Secretary no later than 7 June 2022.

In accordance with the Constitution of the Association, to be able to vote at the AGM, members must be financial and either attend the meeting in person or lodge a proxy vote at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

Members who wish to attend the meeting are requested to register through the website using the Event Booking facility below. Alternatively, members may advise the acting Secretary of their intention to participate as soon as possible by email. Once we know how many members will be attending, we will arrange Zoom access by promulgating the access code on the website or emailing it directly to members.

Members unable to attend the meeting should lodge their proxy vote with the acting Secretary by email no later than 24 hours before the meeting. Members may nominate a person attending the meeting or the acting Secretary or the Chairman to act on their behalf.
