2026 NWOA SYDNEY ANZAC DAY REUNION
The NWOA Committee is pleased to confirm the 2026 Sydney ANZAC DAY Reunion will once again be held at the RAN Sailing Association (RANSA) on the waterfront in Rushcutters Bay.
Given the always warm welcome from RANSA, the attractiveness of the location, and its historical linkage as the birthplace of our Association, previous reunions at RANSA have been happy occasions. We expect 2026 to continue the tradition.
The Reunion is open to all members and their partners. Guests of members with a service affiliation are also welcome. As always, the Committee encourages a strong turnout.
An intermediate rendezvous will be established to enable members to replenish their spirits post march, before continuing to RANSA. Details will be advised closer to the time. Proceedings at RANSA will open at 1200 and a subsidised drinks tab for wine, beer and soft drinks will operate from 1200 – 1530 or until the allocated funds are consumed. After that, members are more than welcome to linger, at their own expense.
It is not intended to make any formal victualling arrangements for the event, but food will be available from the on-site café operator, and the Association may also provide substantial ‘finger food’ depending on the number of attendees.
Dress for the Reunion will be smart casual (trousers/ chinos with a collared shirt). Members who are marching beforehand or who prefer a more formal attire on ANZAC Day, please feel free to attend in coat and tie with medals.
To assist planning, members are requested to advise their attendance intentions as soon as possible. This can be done through the Association’s website (log in, (Select Events from the Menu at the top on the Front Page > Upcoming Events > 2026 Sydney ANZAC Day Reunion > RSVP > enter number of attendees in the ticket box > Checkout). Alternatively, members can email me direct at [email protected] informing me of your attendance and the names of any guests.
Arrangements for the Association’s participation in the Sydney ANZAC Day march will be advised as soon as the march organisers confirm the details.
